Shavkat Mirziyoyev walked along the renovated street in Nukus

During his visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev walked along the renovated street in the city of Nukus.

Thanks to the improvement work carried out on Gʻaresizlik, S. Kamalov, and Gʻ. Sheraziyeva streets of the city, a comfortable recreation environment was created for residents and guests of the city, and conditions were established for the 24/7 operation of shopping and entertainment venues.

2.2 billion soums were allocated for these works, with a 2.5-kilometer section of the streets repaired and their infrastructure updated.

Pedestrian walkways were built, and benches and trash bins were installed. Energy-efficient lights powered by solar panels were installed to illuminate the area at night. In order to drain rainwater and prevent water accumulation, a new 1.5-kilometer network was constructed, and the existing ones were modernized.

The created opportunities also stimulated entrepreneurial activity. 8 new business entities started operating in the area, and another 10 expanded their activities. As a result, 75 new jobs were created.

While walking along the street, the head of state spoke warmly with the people, emphasizing that the peace prevailing in the country is the most precious blessing, and expressed his best wishes.
