Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the activities of the Nukus Insulation Group enterprise

Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the activities of the Nukus Insulation Group enterprise located in the city of Nukus.

The enterprise produces modern thermal insulation materials from local basalt raw materials.

The project was implemented on the basis of the President's resolution dated February 9, 2024, "On additional measures for the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and ensuring population employment."

Modern equipment manufactured in Europe has been installed at the enterprise, which has a total value of 50 million dollars. This equipment allows for the production of products that meet international standards from local raw materials.

The enterprise has an annual production capacity of 50 thousand tons of thermal insulation materials worth 300 billion soums. 150 new jobs have been created here.

Basalt-based insulation materials are distinguished by their fire resistance, heat retention properties, and long service life. Their use in construction serves to increase the energy efficiency of buildings and structures, and to reduce heating and cooling costs.

The Head of State familiarized himself with the production process and products, and had a warm conversation with the enterprise's team. Right there, the khokims of the regions assigned to the districts of Karakalpakstan provided information on the work carried out over the past period.

The President emphasized the need to further expand the work of supporting and landscaping these districts with the help of the regions. The importance of strengthening ties and production cooperation between the regions, and increasing projects aimed at increasing population employment and income by jointly utilizing existing opportunities, was noted.
