Russian actor Sergey Bezrukov announced that he was presented with the Order of "Dustlik", which the President of Uzbekistan awarded him two years ago. He noted that he is proud of this award and hopes that joint plans for cooperation will be realized.

"In the autumn of 2022, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree awarding me the Order of "Dustlik" (translated as Friendship). And I am very glad that today, two years later, I was presented with this beautiful order, of which I am already proud," the actor wrote on his Telegram channel.

This award was bestowed for his contribution to strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as for the development of cooperation in the field of culture and art. The actor emphasized that he remembers his tours in Uzbekistan, the hospitality, and the meetings with the audience with warmth.

"I want to add that with a very warm feeling I remember all the tours in Uzbekistan, the hospitality, the fantastic audience, meetings with people who turned out to be so close to me in spirit and worldview," Bezrukov added.

Earlier, during a visit to Uzbekistan, the actor spoke about plans to install a monument to the Russian poet Sergey Yesenin in Tashkent. Later, the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the republic, Irina Staroselskaya, clarified that the monument is already finished, and the representative office still has to resolve logistical issues regarding its delivery and finalize the agreement on the location in the capital of Uzbekistan.
