"Sen Yashaysan" at "AKFA Medline": free heart surgeries have been performed on children for 9 years
At the "AKFA Medline" clinic in Tashkent, the "Sen Yashaysan" charitable program, aimed at helping children born with congenital heart defects, continues consistently. Within the framework of the program, complex heart surgeries are performed completely free of charge for children up to 15 years old from families in need of social support.
Launched in 2017, this noble initiative now has a 9-year history. During this period, more than 700 free surgical procedures were performed on children with congenital heart defects under the "Sen Yashaysan" program at the "AKFA Medline" clinic.
Behind these figures lie the hope of hundreds of families, the joy of parents, and the destiny of children who have taken a step toward a healthy life.
Most importantly, assistance within the program is not limited to surgery alone. Surgical procedures, the child's inpatient treatment, hospital stay, and meals, as well as the inpatient stay of one parent alongside their child, are also provided free of charge. In this way, special attention is paid to reducing the financial worries of families associated with treatment.
To participate in the program, a congenital heart defect must be diagnosed in the child, and the family must meet the established social criteria. The condition of each patient is evaluated individually by qualified pediatric cardiac surgeons, and the necessity of surgery is determined based on medical indications.
Additionally, free consultations by pediatric cardiac surgeons are held by the clinic every month. Specialists also travel to various regions of the republic, examine children with congenital heart defects, and, when necessary, select them for free surgical treatment.
To expand the population's access to specialized medical care, treatment based on a state referral (order) has also been established at "AKFA Medline". For citizens in need of social protection, opportunities to cover treatment expenses through the "Saxovat va ko'mak" (Generosity and Support) fund are also considered in accordance with the established procedure.
The main goal of the "Sen Yashaysan" program is to provide timely, qualified medical care to children from low-income families and to create opportunities for them to grow up healthy and live a full life.
After all, every child has the right to live, grow up healthy, and dream.
If a congenital heart defect has been diagnosed in your child, or if there is a suspicion of such a diagnosis, you can obtain information about free consultation and the conditions for participation in the program.
