Samarkand's experience in youth diplomacy was presented to the attention of the international parliamentary community

At the meeting of the Governing Council held as part of the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the results of the 12th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, which took place in Samarkand, were presented.

It was specifically noted that this international conference, which brought together nearly 150 parliamentarians from fifty countries, served as an important dialogue platform for discussing the protection of human rights, expanding youth participation in decision-making processes, and jointly finding solutions to modern threats.

During the meeting, a video presentation dedicated to the Samarkand conference was shown. It reflected the key moments and achieved results of the conference, presenting Uzbekistan's experience in developing youth parliamentarism to the attention of the international parliamentary community.

Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva emphasized that the ideas put forward and the recommendations adopted in Samarkand must translate into practical results, stating that to this end, the final document of the conference has been published, and highlighting the importance of using it as a roadmap for future work.
