Russia strikes Zaporizhia with drones

One person was killed and six others were injured in a drone attack by Russian forces on the city of Zaporizhia on the night of August 19. Residential and other buildings were damaged, and a fire broke out after the attack.

Russia has attacked the city of Zaporizhia using drones. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhia regional military administration, Ivan Fyodorov. According to him, residential buildings and other objects in the city were damaged as a result of the strikes by Russian drones.

A fire broke out at one of the objects after the attack. According to preliminary information, one person died and six others were injured to varying degrees.

Fyodorov noted that people may be trapped under the rubble. Rescue and emergency services are working at the scene.

A warning was also issued about the risk of a strike on Zaporizhia from guided aerial bombs during the night. Some Ukrainian publications report that guided aerial bombs were also used in the attack on the city, along with drones.

Work is ongoing to clarify the consequences of the attack and information about the victims.
