Russia attacks Ukraine with missiles and drones

On the night of August 25, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles, guided bombs, and drones. According to local Ukrainian authorities, a total of three people were killed in Zaporizhia and Kharkiv, and a woman was injured in Kiev. A checkpoint on the border with Moldova and a Red Cross warehouse in Kherson were also reported to have been hit.

Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhia regional military administration, reported that Zaporizhia was hit by guided aerial bombs in the early hours of August 25. Two people were killed in the attack. The attack damaged the carriageway and caused a fire in an open area. Earlier, on the evening of August 24, the city was attacked with drones, damaging an apartment building and setting fire to one of the apartments.

One person died in a missile strike in Kharkiv. According to the mayor of the city, Igor Terekhov, the strike hit an industrial area in the Osnovyansky district in the south of Kharkiv. It was also reported that an attack with drones was carried out in the Kievsky district of Kharkiv.

In the Goloseyevsky district of Kiev, fragments of a drone hit a 16-story residential building, damaging walls and breaking windows. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said one woman was injured.

Strikes were also recorded in the city of Dnipro. According to preliminary information from Ukrainian media, a large shopping and entertainment center "Karavan" was hit and a fire broke out.

In the Koryukovsky district of the Chernihiv region, one of the enterprises was attacked. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as a result, a fire broke out on an area of more than 3 thousand square meters. Fires were also recorded on the territory of road and forestry facilities, as well as private enterprises. They were extinguished, and no information was provided about the injured.

**A checkpoint on the Moldovan border was hit**

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported another attack on one of the checkpoints on the border with Moldova. According to the report, Shahed drones hit the "Vinogradovka" automobile checkpoint. As a result, a fire broke out there and the checkpoint was temporarily suspended. Citizens were told to be directed to other checkpoints.

**Red Cross humanitarian warehouse also damaged**

On the evening of August 24, the Red Cross press service reported that the organization's warehouse in Kherson was attacked by Russian drones.
