Relevant instructions were issued by the special commission in order to improve air quality
The quality of atmospheric air is being constantly monitored by the Special Commission. In particular, on the night of October 30 to October 31, Tashkent

The Special Commission issued relevant instructions regarding the improvement of ambient air quality. Air quality is under the constant control of this commission. In particular, air quality deteriorated in the city of Tashkent on the night of October 30 to October 31.
In the evening, air quality was recorded at the "unhealthy for sensitive groups" level according to the Air Quality Index (AQI), and after 21:00, it reached the "unhealthy" level. According to the National Air Quality Index, the city average was at the "yellow" level for PM2.5 and the "orange" level for PM10.
The deterioration in air quality was caused by a drop in temperature, a strong temperature inversion, very weak winds, and the prolonged retention of air masses around the city. These conditions limited the dispersion of local emissions and PM particles, creating conditions for their accumulation in the layer near the ground surface.
Furthermore, during the nighttime, specialists from the State Enterprise "National Center for Ecological Monitoring" conducted instrumental measurements of ambient air conditions in the Mirzo Ulugbek, Yunusabad, Olmazar, Chilanzar, Mirobod, Yashnabad, Uchtepa, and Shaykhantahur districts of Tashkent city, as well as the Qibray district and the city of Chirchiq in Tashkent region. In the observations, air quality corresponded to the "unhealthy" category for PM2.5, and at certain points, to the "very unhealthy" category.
According to forecasts, today, October 31, air quality in Tashkent city is expected to be at the "unhealthy" level according to the international AQI and at the "yellow" level according to the national index. Based on the instructions of the Special Commission, khokimiyats were instructed to ensure the regular operation of fountains and to systematically carry out the washing of streets and roadsides in order to improve ambient air quality.
