A short-term deterioration in air quality is expected in Tashkent
On the night of October 24 in Tashkent, air quality is expected to deteriorate, with an increase in the amount of PM2.5 and PM10 fine particulate matter. According to the forecast of the Ecology Committee, the situation is expected to improve starting in the morning.

Air quality in Tashkent expected to deteriorate briefly
On the night of October 24, ambient air quality in Tashkent city may temporarily deteriorate. This was reported by the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change.
According to the Committee's forecast, the amount of PM2.5 and PM10 particles in the air is expected to increase during the evening and night hours, bringing air quality to an "unhealthy" level according to the international Air Quality Index (AQI).
In the national air quality index, however, the indicators are expected to remain mostly at the "yellow" level.
This may be affected by the drop in air temperature at night, weak wind, and a strong temperature inversion. Under such conditions, air exchange in the lower layers of the atmosphere is restricted, and fine dust particles accumulate near the ground surface.
Air quality is expected to improve starting from the morning as the temperature inversion weakens. However, during the morning hours, air quality in certain areas of the capital may remain at an "unhealthy for sensitive groups" level.
