PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his thoughts on the 6-0 victory over Villarreal in the fourth round of the Champions League.

“I have seen teams score three goals in five minutes. If we had conceded that many goals in such a short period, we would have faced difficulties just like Villarreal.

We scored 20 goals in four games. But that means nothing. There will be only one winner in the final in Madrid, and our goal is to win there. Even though in previous seasons we failed to reach the top eight in the overall standings, we still won the trophy,” the official UEFA website quotes Enrique as saying.

Currently, PSG leads the overall Champions League standings with 12 points. Villarreal sits in 29th place with three points.

PSG has won the main trophy of the Champions League in the last two seasons. In the final of the 2024/25 season, Inter was defeated with a score of 5-0.

In the final of the 2025/26 season, PSG defeated Arsenal in a penalty shootout.
