“Problems arise with those who make a “sky” out of themselves” – taxi drivers about bad-mannered customers

A recent quarrel between a taxi driver and a passenger in Tashkent turned serious: the driver was beaten, and the person who used force on him was arrested. This incident once again made the issue of taxi drivers’ safety in the workplace and their relationships with passengers relevant. Kun.uz surveyed taxi drivers in the capital about the problems they face.

Disagreements between a taxi driver and a passenger are not always related to the fare or destination.
