A criminal case has been opened against a man and a woman suspected of beating and slandering a taxi driver in Tashkent.
After a fight between a taxi driver and a female passenger in Tashkent, the woman's brother is suspected of hooliganism and the woman herself of slander. Criminal cases have been opened in both cases and investigations are underway.

Videos of a fight between a taxi driver and a female passenger have been circulating on social media.
According to the videos recorded by the taxi driver, the fight broke out after the driver reprimanded the female passenger for kicking the seat. The driver then asked the woman to get out of the car, but the passenger refused and called her brother, a blogger born in 2003, on the phone.
In one of the videos, the woman accused the driver of sexually arousing her when her acquaintances arrived. After that, a fight broke out between the woman's acquaintance and the driver.
First, videos taken by the woman's acquaintances were posted on the networks (later deleted). In them, the authors accused the driver of sexually abusing the woman. A little later, the driver posted videos of his conversation with the woman in the car and during the fight.
The capital's Department of Internal Affairs provided information on the incident
. According to him, the incident occurred on August 17 on Abdulla Qodiriy Street in Yashnabad district of Tashkent.
A criminal case was initiated against the passenger's brother under Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code and
he was arrested.
A criminal case was also initiated against the passenger, who is suspected of slandering the taxi driver, under Part 2 of Article 139 (Slander by posting on the Internet). The investigation is ongoing.
