A taxi driver was attacked in Tashkent: details of the incident.

Yakubbek Juraboev reported that on August 17, he picked up a passenger with children in the Karakamysh district. He said the woman was acting restless and talking loudly on the phone. One of the children began kicking the seat and opening the windows and doors. The driver made a remark, to which the passenger responded rudely. He then stopped the car and suggested she call another taxi.

The woman threatened to call her brothers. According to the driver, one of them soon arrived, pulled him out of the car, and attempted to take his phone so he could delete the videos. During the ensuing fight, the car started moving and collided with an obstacle. The driver claims that the relatives, who arrived later, insulted him, spat at him, and threw trash inside the car.

The woman, according to Juraboev, also accused him of proposing sexual intercourse, an accusation he categorically denies. The driver claims to have video footage from the scene that corroborates his version of events.

The victim was hospitalized with injuries to the head, shoulders, chest, and abdomen. He was admitted to the neurosurgical department.

According to Kun.uz, the woman's relatives are well-known Instagram bloggers. They posted videos claiming the driver attempted to assault their sister, but these videos were later deleted.

A criminal case has been opened under Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
