The cotton harvesting season has begun in Uzbekistan. In order to ensure compliance with labor legislation and prevent forced labor and child labor during the season, the activities of a special headquarters and working groups have been established.
The State Labor Inspectorate calls on employers and farms not to involve citizens in forced labor, not to use child labor, to legally formalize labor relations, and to comply with the requirements for working hours, rest, and remuneration.
Additionally, parents have been asked not to allow students to be involved in cotton harvesting work.
