President of Uzbekistan receives special representative of US President
As part of his visit to Bishkek, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received US President's Special Representative for South and Central Asia Sergio Gore.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the Special Representative of the President of the United States of America.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sergio Gore expressed sincere congratulations on the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence and conveyed to Shavkat Mirziyoyev the greetings and best wishes of US President Donald Trump.
During the negotiations, issues of further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States, as well as the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, were discussed in detail.
The parties noted with satisfaction the positive pace of development of political dialogue, inter-parliamentary and inter-regional relations, as well as the consistent expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation.
The importance of continuing to promote joint projects and initiatives in priority areas such as energy, transport, key minerals, digital technologies, artificial intelligence and agriculture was emphasized.
Great attention was also paid to upcoming events within the framework of the "S5+1" format and thorough preparations for the next meeting of the Uzbek-American Business and Investment Council.
