Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and U.S. President Donald Trump engaged in a telephone conversation on August 7, as confirmed by the presidential press service.

The call commenced with President Mirziyoyev extending renewed congratulations to President Trump on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence.

According to the statement, "President Trump, in turn, noted that Uzbek-American relations had reached an unprecedented level and that a close and trusting dialogue had been established between the leaders of the two countries."

Both presidents acknowledged the consistent progress in implementing prior agreements and explored avenues for further solidifying the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States. They also commended the robust pace of bilateral interactions and exchanges, which now encompass nearly all spheres of collaboration.
