Passenger car production increased in Uzbekistan
In January–September 2026, the volume of passenger car production rose from 326,370 units in the same period of 2025 to 356,318 units, an increase of nearly 30 thousand units.
At the same time, 4,447 trucks were also produced in 9 months. This figure is higher than the 3,615 units recorded in the corresponding period of last year.
Among passenger cars, "Cobalt" was produced the most — 120,672 units. This is higher than the 116,008 units produced in January–September 2025.
The production volume of "Damas" reached 63,401 units. 34,080 units of "Tracker" and 27,247 units of "Onix" were produced.
The production of "BYD" brand cars reached 26,706 units. This is almost double compared to the 13,730 units in the same period of last year.
During the reporting period, 24,801 "KIA", 7,221 "Chery", and 6,953 "Haval" vehicles were produced.
The number of specialized passenger cars stood at 43,098 units. 2,137 vehicles were also produced in the "Chevrolet Damas Move" model. Meanwhile, 2 vehicles were manufactured under the "TANK 500" brand.
