In January–August 2026, 310,389 passenger cars were produced in Uzbekistan. This figure is higher compared to 284,352 in the same period of 2025.

BYD production also increased significantly, rising from 12,930 to 23,850 units. Onix production grew from 20,241 to 23,498 units, and Haval increased from 5,303 to 6,227 units.
However, a decrease was recorded for some models. Damas production decreased from 57,882 to 55,022 units. At the same time, 1,530 units of the new Chevrolet Damas Move model were produced. Tracker production also fell from 29,930 to 29,781 units.
