Over 2.5 thousand potent drugs seized in two regions
In three rapid operations conducted in the Andijan and Fergana regions, a total of 2,591 units of highly potent drugs and 200 grams of hashish were seized. Criminal cases have been initiated for all three cases, and investigations have begun.
More than 2.5 thousand potent drugs seized in two regions
According to the State Security Service, these operations were conducted as part of the fight against the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and potent substances.
In the Izboskan district of the Andijan region, a Lacetti car heading towards the city of Tashkent was stopped and inspected in cooperation with representatives of the regional administration of the SSS, the Border Troops, and the regional Customs Administration.
The car was driven by a previously convicted individual born in 1986, residing in the city of Bekabad, Tashkent region. During the inspection, 1,400 units of the potent drug "Regapen" were found in the car's cabin.
The second operational event was conducted in the city of Kokand in cooperation with employees of the SSS Fergana regional administration, customs, and internal affairs bodies.
During the operation, 1,092 units of "Regapen" and 200 grams of hashish were found in the bag of a local citizen born in 1976. They were seized as material evidence.
In another case, a VAZ-21017 car traveling from Margilan towards Kokand was stopped and inspected in the Uchkuprik district.
In the cabin of the car, driven by a resident of the city of Kokand born in 1985, 99 units of the potent drug "Tropicamide" were discovered. The drugs were confiscated in accordance with procedural rules.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals in all three cases. Investigative actions are ongoing.
