The State Security Service announced that as a result of operational measures conducted in Tashkent city, Tashkent region, and Namangan region, 12.7 kg of narcotics were seized from drug traffickers detained in three regions.
During an operational measure conducted in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, a resident of the Marhamat district of the Andijan region, born in 2000, driving a Cobalt, attempted to flee by disobeying the lawful demands of the operation participants and threw away 2 packages of suspicious substances that were in the car cabin.
Subsequently, the vehicle was stopped, and another 2 packages of suspicious substances were found in its cabin, as well as 1 package at the geolocation point where this individual was supposed to receive them. The substances identified during the operational measure turned out to be the narcotic drug hashish, with a total weight of 5 kilograms.
In an operational measure conducted in the Chilanzar district by the SSS Department for Tashkent City in cooperation with internal affairs bodies, a large quantity of synthetic drugs was uncovered. When a foreign citizen born in 2005 was stopped and searched, a powdery substance in a zip-lock bag was found in his possession. During a search of his temporary residence in the presence of impartial witnesses, packages labeled as various food products were found to contain 4 kilograms 133 grams of "3-chloromethcathinone", 403 grams of "Amphetamine", 720 grams of "MDMA", and 20 grams of "cocaine" narcotics.
In an operational measure conducted at a border customs post in the Uchkurgan district by the SSS Department for Namangan Region in cooperation with the Border Troops and Customs authorities, a Lacetti driven by a resident of the Chortoq district, born in 2000, which had entered the country from a neighboring state, was inspected. It was discovered that 2 kilograms 513 grams of the synthetic drug "Alpha-PVP" was hidden inside its fuel tank, and it was seized as material evidence.
Additionally, his accomplice, a resident of Chortoq born in 2005, who had traveled with him to the border customs post, crossed the post on foot, and was waiting for him on the territory of the republic, was also detained.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against the drug traffickers in connection with all three cases, and investigative actions are underway.
