Drug dealers arrested in Tashkent, nearly 1 kilogram of drugs seized

Drug traffickers were detained in Tashkent and about 1 kilogram of narcotics were confiscated from them.
As a result of operational search operations conducted in the city of Tashkent and the region, persons previously convicted of drug crimes and their accomplices were detained.
Officers of the Rapid Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs stopped and searched a person born in 1991 in the Tashkent district, previously convicted under Part 5 of Article 273 of the Criminal Code, while he was driving a BYD car. 200 grams of mephedrone were found in the car interior.
The operational operation was continued and his place of residence was also searched. Another 300 grams of mephedrone were found there. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this person served as a packer and "storage agent" in drug-related criminal activities.
The next case was recorded in the Shaykhantohur district of Tashkent. The territorial divisions of the Rapid Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service stopped and searched a previously convicted person born in 1992 and his partner born in 1990 in a BYD car.
400 grams of mephedrone and hashish were found in their possession and confiscated as material evidence. According to rapid information, they had been distributing synthetic narcotic drugs through a drug store in Telegram for about a year.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 273 of the Criminal Code (illegal preparation, processing, acquisition, storage and other actions with the aim of trafficking narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues, as well as their illegal trafficking) under Part 6, Subparagraph “a” of Article 273 of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are ongoing.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs called on citizens to report suspicious activities or individuals via the “Stopnarko” Telegram bot and hotlines.
Earlier, it was reported that a total of 585 grams of the synthetic narcotic substance “Alfa-PVP” hidden in construction equipment was discovered during operational operations in the Chilanzor district of Tashkent.
