Over 10 million tourists visited Uzbekistan in 9 months
In January–September 2026, 10.3 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan. This is 20.4% more than in the same period of 2025, the Tourism Committee reports.

According to the report, 1.2 million tourists arrived in the country in September alone.
The highest growth in the number of tourist trips in September was recorded among citizens of China — 2.1 times, Malaysia — 1.9 times, Egypt and Romania — 1.8 times, Indonesia — 1.7 times, Japan — 1.5 times, the USA — 1.4 times, and Russia — 1.3 times.
The number of tourists from Germany and the UK increased by 25%, from France — by 21%, and from Turkey — by 15%.
"During this period, the export of tourism services reached 5.3 billion US dollars, increasing by 51.2 percent compared to the same period in 2025," the report says.
At the same time, according to the National Statistics Committee, in January–August 2026, about 13.6 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to Georgia for tourism purposes.
Of these, 12,548 people went to Georgia for tourism, 831 to visit relatives, 134 on business trips, 94 for medical treatment, and nine for study.
