On October 3 and 4, the Aral Ultra international ultramarathon will take place in Karakalpakstan. The running distances will be 100, 50, 25, and 15 km. The route will run through the Ustyurt Plateau to the shores of the Aral Sea.

The Art and Culture Development Foundation has announced the opening of registration for the Aral Ultra international ultramarathon.
The running competition will take place on October 3–4 in Karakalpakstan.
The marathon route will pass through the Ustyurt Plateau and finish on the coastline of the Western Aral Sea. It is planned to change the finish line every year in order to demonstrate the changes in the region's ecosystem.
The Aral Ultra program also includes events in the city of Nukus: children's running competitions, plogging with waste collection, and a running excursion around the city.
The competition will be organized in the format of trail running — running along natural routes without paved roads.

The 100 km and 50 km distances are designed for prepared participants and require confirmation of qualification.
To be admitted to the 100 km distance, one must have finished in one of the following routes:
To be admitted to the 50 km distance, one must meet one of the following requirements, in particular, have finished in the following competitions:
Participation in the 25 km and 15 km runs does not require qualification, but there is an age limit of 18 years.
Registration for the 2 km and Kids Run distances will open later.
"Through Aral Ultra, we want to show the world a new image of the region — as a place of power with unique nature, culture, and a special atmosphere that cannot be experienced anywhere else," said Mirkhan Sagitov, head of the marathon implementation department and curator of the series.
Aral Ultra will become part of the Samarkand Marathon series, which unites the marathon of the same name, Bukhara Night Race, Sky Camp Bo’stonliq, and Zaamin Ultra competitions.
The organizers plan to direct the collected funds to the construction of children's sports grounds in the cities where the running competitions are held.
