Rowers from Uzbekistan will compete in the Goodwill Cup in Moscow.

Uzbek rowers will participate in the Goodwill Cup in Moscow.

Athletes from Uzbekistan will travel to Moscow to participate in the international canoe sprint competition, the Goodwill Cup. The event will take place on the Rowing Canal from September 3rd to 6th and will bring together over 800 athletes from various countries.

In addition to the Uzbek team, participants from Russia, Belarus, Turkey, the Philippines, and other countries have also entered the tournament. Competitions will be held for both adult and junior rowers.

The program includes a variety of disciplines, including canoe sprint, paracanoe, dragon boat racing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), canoe polo, and kayak cross. Distances will range from 100 to 5,000 meters. The opening ceremony is scheduled for September 5, and the tournament's closing ceremony and trophy presentation will take place on September 6.

Earlier, Uzbek rowers Shahzod Nurmatov and Sobir Safarliev made history by winning their country's first gold medals at the World Rowing Championships.
