Uzbekistan to host first-ever Swimming World Cup

Tashkent hosted the Artistic Swimming World Cup in 2017 and 2018.

Uzbekistan will host the World Cup swimming competitions for the first time in its history.

On October 8-10 of this year, Tashkent will host the second stage of the World Cup swimming competitions. More than 750 male and female athletes from more than 50 countries are expected to participate in this three-stage competition organized by the World Aquatics Federation.

The total prize fund of the competition is 1.2 million US dollars. This event is part of the "Silk Road" tour and also serves as a preparation for the athletes for the XVIII World Swimming Championships in Beijing.

It should be recalled that Tashkent previously hosted the World Cup artistic swimming competitions in 2017 and 2018.
