Ognessa FS earned the right to represent Uzbekistan at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Zurich after winning the national final of this international street dance championship, which took place on August 16 in Tashkent.
The national final was held at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theater with the support of Uzbekistan Creative Park. The competition featured 16 of the country's best dancers, selected through the qualifying round, which took place on August 14 in Tashkent.
Red Bull Dance Your Style features one-on-one dance battles. Participants demonstrate various street dance styles, such as hip-hop, popping, krump, and vogue. Dancers do not use pre-prepared routines, but improvise to randomly selected music.
The battle winners are determined not by a professional jury, but by the audience. During the performances, they vote for their favorite participant using red and blue cards.
Ognessa FS emerged as the national champion. In the decisive battle, she defeated Mavlena by the audience's vote.
This victory secured Ognessa FS the opportunity to represent Uzbekistan at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Finals, which will take place in October 2026 in Zurich, Switzerland.
The Red Bull Dance Your Style International Championship has been held since 2019, uniting dance communities from around the world. In 2026, the competition will be held in 57 countries, including Uzbekistan.
