Tashkent will host the Red Bull Dance Your Style national final.

Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —

On August 16 at 7:00 PM, the national final of the Red Bull Dance Your Style international street dance championship will take place in the square in front of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theater in Tashkent. The event is supported by Uzbekistan Creative Park. The winner of this stage will earn the right to represent Uzbekistan at the world final in Switzerland, according to the organizers.

The national final will feature 16 of the country's best dancers, selected through a qualifying round scheduled for August 14 in Tashkent. Registration is open on the project's official website. Admission is free for spectators. Visitors must be 18+.

Red Bull Dance Your Style is a series of one-on-one battles bringing together dancers from various street dance styles, such as hip-hop, popping, krump, and vogue. A distinctive feature of the competition is its complete improvisation: participants dance to randomly selected music tracks without prior preparation.

Another unique feature of the championship is the lack of professional judging. The outcome of each battle is decided by the audience, voting with red and blue cards. Thus, it is the audience that determines who advances to the next round and becomes the national champion.

The Red Bull Dance Your Style Championship has been held since 2019, uniting dance communities around the world. In 2026, the competition will be held in 57 countries, and Uzbekistan will host the national final for the second year in a row.

The organizers emphasize that this event will not only be a competition for the country's leading dancers but also a large-scale spectacle, where spectators will be able to actively support the participants and choose who will represent Uzbekistan on the international stage.
