The Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva, met with the Director General of the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion, Asmita Satyarthi, on the sidelines of the 12th IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians taking place in Samarkand.
During the conversation, the parties reviewed issues of further expanding humanitarian cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities for exchanging experience, organizing joint seminars, expert meetings, and parliamentary discussions on the protection of children's rights and supporting children in need of social protection.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on further enhancing the role of women in society, supporting young female leaders, and developing social leadership.
