Over two thousand fare evaders identified in Tashkent in six days

In six days on eight of the capital's routes in Tashkent, more than 2.1 thousand passengers were caught riding public transport without a ticket. The highest number of violations was recorded on routes No. 174, 120, 56, and 169.

The checks are being conducted as part of stepped-up fare collection monitoring. Special attention is being paid to eight bus routes: No. 42, 56, 74, 84, 120, 169, 174, and 177.

From October 28 to November 2, 2026, 2.152 thousand administrative reports were drawn up against passengers who did not pay for their trip. The majority of violations occurred on:

• route No. 174 — 291 cases;

• route No. 120 — 286;

• route No. 56 — 284;

• route No. 169 — 284.

At the same time, the checks did not lead to a decrease in passenger traffic. Thus, on November 2, route No. 174 carried 1.7 thousand more people than on October 28 — an increase of 32.4%. On route No. 56, the number of passengers grew by 1.3 thousand — up 13.9%.

Over the six days, 326.4 thousand passengers were served and 6.5 thousand trips were completed on these routes.

Monitoring continues. Passengers are reminded: the fare must be paid for every trip.

As a reminder, in October, more than 21 thousand administrative reports were issued against fare evaders.
