Monetary awards for winners and runner-ups of the presidential olympiad will be increased by 2.5 times
School graduates who won the Olympiad and set a new record for Uzbekistan will be able to enroll in sports programs at higher education institutions without exams on the basis of a state grant.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the opening ceremony of the Presidential Olympiad, which is being held for the second time. The head of state congratulated the young athletes, coaches, and representatives of the sports sector on the start of the competition.
Addressing the young athletes, the president emphasized that achieving championship heights is possible through strong willpower and iron discipline. He noted that this is precisely the essence of the promoted idea "Uz".
"Believe in yourself! Work on yourself! Be worthy of your Motherland!" the president stated.
The head of state stressed that when the flag of Uzbekistan is raised and the national anthem is played at international competitions, the entire nation feels pride in its athletes.
To further support young people, starting from 2027, cash prizes for the winners and medalists of the Presidential Olympiad will be increased by 2.5 times.
The reward amounts will be:
25 million UZS for first place;
12 million UZS for second place;
6 million UZS for third place.
In addition, school graduates who become winners of the Presidential Olympiad and set a new record of Uzbekistan will be able to enroll in sports faculties of higher education institutions without entrance examinations under a state grant.
