Minor children of citizens serving sentences in Russia have been brought to Uzbekistan

With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan, the return to Uzbekistan of minor children of compatriots serving sentences in the Republic of Mordovia and the Samara Oblast of Russia has been successfully completed.

The process of returning the children was carried out as a result of negotiations and cooperation between the diplomats of the Consulate General and the authorized state bodies of Russia, as well as the necessary consular and legal measures.

During the process, the minor children's Uzbek citizenship, the presence of close relatives in the country, and their living conditions were studied. The necessary documents to bring the children to Uzbekistan were prepared and submitted to the authorized bodies.

As a result, the minors being raised in the children's home under the correctional facility in the Republic of Mordovia were received under the supervision of the diplomats of the Consulate General and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs specially deployed from Uzbekistan.
