11 children left without parental care abroad have been returned to Uzbekistan

Over the past week, 11 minor citizens left abroad without parental care were returned to Uzbekistan. Nine children arrived from the Russian Federation, and two more from Kazakhstan. This was reported by the National Agency for Social Protection.

The return of the children was carried out by a working group that included employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of Uzbekistan.

The work was conducted with the assistance of the Children's Ombudsman and in cooperation with the competent authorities of the respective foreign states.

Following their return to Uzbekistan, necessary measures are being taken to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of the minors. In particular, efforts are aimed at returning the children to a family environment, as well as providing them with the necessary social services and assistance.

The future situation of the returned minors and their adaptation within the family will be under the social supervision of the "Inson" social service centers at the children's place of residence.
