Manchester City reach agreement with Enso Fernandes — Romano

Chelsea midfielder Enso Fernandes has reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City on personal terms.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have not yet sent an official offer to Chelsea for the Argentine player. However, negotiations between the clubs are expected to begin soon.

Fernandes could leave Chelsea this weekend. Earlier it was reported that the London club is planning to receive 120 million pounds (140 million euros) for the 25-year-old midfielder.

In the first round of the English Premier League, Chelsea defeated Fulham 3-2. However, Fernandes started the game on the bench and only came on the field with 25 minutes left.

Enso Fernandes has been playing for Chelsea since January 2023. He joined the London club from Portuguese side Benfica.

The Argentine midfielder's current contract with Chelsea runs until the summer of 2032. Transfermarkt estimates Fernandes' market value at €100 million.
