The discount period for the transfer of Enso Fernandes has expired.

The deadline for the transfer of Enso Fernandes has expired.
Chelsea have not received any written offers for midfielder Enso Fernandes. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, August 14 (5pm London time) was the last date for the club to discuss the sale of the player.
It was previously reported that if Manchester City and Chelsea fail to reach an agreement by that date, the transfer will not take place at all. Now, teams interested in signing the 25-year-old Argentine player will have to submit a net offer of 140.5 million euros for him.
According to the source, Chelsea are no longer considering the option of selling the 25-year-old for 120 million pounds sterling (140 million euros). This amount was announced to potential buyers at the end of May.
Enso moved to Chelsea from Benfica in the winter of 2023. He has made 166 appearances in all competitions so far, scoring 30 goals.
The Argentine midfielder won the Conference League and the 2025 Club World Cup with the Londoners in the 2024/2025 season. The player's current contract runs until the summer of 2032, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at 100 million euros.
