London's Chelsea football club has announced its readiness to transfer Argentine midfielder Enso Fernandes to Manchester City for 164 million euros. This was reported by Euro-Football, citing information from Topskills Sports UK.

The source noted that Fernandes himself wants to join the "city" team, but does not intend to put pressure on the club's management to make the transfer. The midfielder prefers to wait for the clubs to reach an agreement. In turn, Manchester City also plans to transfer some of its own players before buying Enso.

Earlier it was reported that the management of the "aristocrats" set August 14 (17:00 London time) as the deadline for discussing the sale of the player. However, Chelsea have not received any offers for Enzo during this period.

For your information, the 25-year-old midfielder played in a total of 54 matches in all competitions last season, scoring 15 goals and providing 7 assists.
