There are 1 million 100 thousand young people in Karakalpakstan, 505 thousand of whom are between the ages of 14 and 30. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that this is a huge potential and that it is important to give young people the right direction.

The task was set to provide 1 thousand young people within a year, and another 5 thousand during the next two years, with high-income jobs in the fields of information technology and logistics.

In the region, there are 98 thousand young people with foreign language certificates, 127 thousand in information technology, and 5.5 thousand who have received certificates in exact sciences. 10 thousand of them are fluent in foreign languages and information technology.

The initiative of our compatriot in Korea to teach information technology to young people in remote areas and make them high-income earners was supported.

It was instructed to attract at least 10 such talented compatriots to Karakalpakstan by the end of the year and start projects.

The President noted the need to expand the vocational education experience established at Technical School No. 1 in the city of Nukus.

The "Pearson BTEC" international educational program has been introduced at the technical school, and graduates are awarded a professional certificate recognized by 70 countries.

Entrepreneur Salovutdin Ilyosov has established the production of 37 types of small equipment here and is also teaching young people equipment manufacturing. 4 thousand unemployed people who received this equipment have started earning an income.

Starting from the new year, this experience will also be introduced in one technical school each in Amudarya, Beruniy, Chimbay, and Kungrad.

From October 1, the amount of loans provided for equipment will be increased from 20 million soums to 50 million soums.

The age limit for covering the costs of learning a trade based on the "master-apprentice" tradition will be raised from 30 to 40 years.

In Karakalpakstan, preschool education coverage has reached 84 percent. However, it was noted that this indicator is still low in Amudarya, Bozatau, Takhiatash, Turtkul, Chimbay, Khojeyli, and Ellikkala.

Now, entrepreneurs opening private kindergartens in Karakalpakstan will be granted 7 percent loans for a period of 15 years, with a 5-year grace period.

In the remaining regions, the loan rate will range from 7 percent to 15 percent, depending on the distance from the center.

The scope of high-tech medical services is also expanding in Karakalpakstan.

Liver and kidney transplants are being performed at the central hospital in Nukus. 150 types of high-tech medical services are being provided at the Aral Sea Region Children's Hospital. This year, 1.5 thousand operations were performed in complex areas such as brain, heart, and plastic surgery.

A medical insurance mechanism has been introduced in the region. Medical institutions were provided with equipment worth 10 million dollars.

The Nukus Medical Scientific Academy, established for the first time in Uzbekistan on a private partnership basis, will serve as a methodical center for assessing the knowledge and improving the qualifications of sector employees. A University Medical Cluster will be established by integrating the Medical Academy, the Children's Clinic, the Oncology Center, and the newly established multidisciplinary hospital into a unified system.

The monthly salary bonus of up to 200 percent paid to doctors working in Muynak will also be introduced in Bozatau and Takhtakupir from January 1.

At the meeting, attention was paid to the issue of effectively utilizing the high prestige and authority of street and mahalla biys (elders) and veterans in society.

The main goal is to create comfortable living conditions in every city and village, the Head of State said. By combining the experience of veterans, the enthusiasm of youth, and the initiative of the population, a prosperous and well-off environment can be created in every mahalla.

It was noted that leaders must start their work with mahalla and street biys early in the morning by touring the areas and communicating with the population.

It is important to keep streets, canals, and ditches clean, increase the number of trees and flowers, and strengthen the sense of belonging to the fate of one's mahalla in every person.

It was noted that landscaping and beautification should not remain a one-time hashar or an event held before holidays, but cleanliness and orderliness must become a daily culture.
