A charitable medical mission was launched in Karakalpakstan with the participation of specialists from the "Al-Amal" medical group and the "Sheikh Abdullah An-Nouri" society.

According to the information, within the framework of this mission, 36 Kuwaiti doctors conducted free examinations for more than 317 patients and performed 187 complex surgical operations. Medical services were provided in 7 areas, including cardiology, oncology, gynecology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and general surgery.

It is noted that the total value of the project is 4.2 million dollars. Of this, 3.9 million dollars was directed toward medical services, and 300 thousand dollars toward necessary equipment and consumables.

This event is the second stage of the charitable program. Its first stage was held on April 29–May 5, 2025, in the city of Nukus, where free medical aid was provided to 420 patients and 36 operations were performed.

Additionally, during the visit, a number of meetings were held at the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan, where projects to establish outpatient rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities in Kegeyli, Kanlikul, and Turtkul districts were discussed.

Doctors managed to operate on the fetus while still in the mother's womb and neutralize a tumor in its lungs. As a result, the baby was born healthy.
