It was reported that air quality in Tashkent may change

On the night of October 25 to October 26, air quality in the city of Tashkent may change due to adverse meteorological conditions, the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change reported.

"According to forecasts, the amount of PM particles may increase during the evening and night hours, and air quality may reach an 'unhealthy' level according to the International Air Quality Index (AQI). According to the National Air Quality Index, air quality is expected to be at an 'orange' level," the report states.

It is noted that a drop in air temperature, light wind, and strong temperature inversion during the night and morning hours restrict air circulation in the lower layers of the atmosphere. As a result, PM2.5 and PM10 particles may accumulate in the layer near the earth's surface, and their concentration may increase.

It was also reported that on the night of October 24, atmospheric air quality in the city of Tashkent could temporarily deteriorate.
