Inappropriate treatment of a student in Jarqorgon: three staff members of the technical college were dismissed
Three employees were dismissed and three others were given a reprimand regarding inappropriate behavior committed against a student at Technical School No. 2 in the Jarqoʻrgʻon district of Surxondaryo Region. The Agency for Vocational Education issued an official response regarding this matter.

According to information provided by the Agency, the student's father applied to the internal affairs bodies on September 30. Following the investigation, a legal assessment was given to the situation, and an appropriate penalty was applied after court proceedings.
Once the situation became known, an internal investigation was conducted at the technical school. It examined the causes of the incident and the extent to which the responsible employees fulfilled their duties.
Based on the results of the investigation, the deputy director for youth affairs and the psychologist of the technical school were relieved of their duties for shortcomings in the performance of their official responsibilities.
The employment contract with the master of vocational education, who committed the inappropriate actions against the student, was unilaterally terminated.
Additionally, a disciplinary sanction of reprimand was issued to the deputy director for academic affairs, the deputy director for vocational education, and the physics teacher.
The Agency reported that, in cooperation with internal affairs bodies in all regions, preventive measures are being conducted aimed at protecting the rights and interests of students, preventing violations, and ensuring a safe environment in educational institutions.
"Every student should feel safe and protected in an educational institution," the statement said.
The Agency stated that control and preventive mechanisms will be developed to prevent the recurrence of such situations, and the responsibility of leaders and staff regarding the timely review of student applications will be strengthened.
