Following the Uchkurgan incident, the ministry has launched an investigation in all state kindergartens
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has established a special working group following the rape of a 5-year-old girl by a supply manager ("zavxoz") at a state kindergarten in the Namangan region. Currently, employees of all state preschool education organizations are being screened. The employment contracts of the employees of the kindergarten in Uchkurgan who are suspected of being involved in the incident have been terminated.

A working group has been established by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education to investigate the situation that occurred in a state preschool education organization in the Uchkurgan district and to assess the suitability of the responsible officials for their duties. The ministry has issued an official response regarding this situation.
The response notes that necessary measures will be taken within the competence of relevant organizations against all employees and officials in the system who were involved in the incident and approached their work irresponsibly, and the perpetrators will be punished.
"The employment contracts with the employees of the educational organization suspected of being involved in the incident have been terminated," the ministry's response says.
It is added that in order to prevent such negative situations from recurring in other kindergartens, members of the ministry's special working group are currently inspecting employees of all state preschool education organizations.
Earlier, it was reported that a 5-year-old girl was repeatedly raped by a 52-year-old head of the household affairs department at a state kindergarten in the Uchkurgan district.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the situation. The suspect has been detained and placed in custody as a precautionary measure.
The director of the kindergarten told a Kun.uz reporter, who investigated the situation, that she "was on labor leave on the day the incident occurred."
