In Uzbekistan, there are plans to create a children's rehabilitation center based on the Turkish model

Uzbekistan is considering the possibility of establishing a children's rehabilitation center modeled after the Turkish Avrupa Medical Center. The idea was discussed by representatives of the National Agency for Social Protection and specialists from the center during a meeting in Istanbul.

Avrupa Medical Center has been operating since 2010, helping children with disabilities and various developmental needs, including autism spectrum disorders, motor function impairments, speech, and cognitive development issues. The center has 13 branches in Istanbul.

The Turkish model entails that, following an initial assessment, an individual rehabilitation and education program is designed for the child. The process involves physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and educators, and utilizes sensory integration, speech therapy, and physical therapy. The parties plan to determine the specific parameters of the future project in Uzbekistan during further negotiations.

In addition, 11 minors left without parental care in Russia and Kazakhstan were returned to Uzbekistan over the course of a week.
