In Uzbekistan, state property rent will become cheaper for businesses that hire women

Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan will be able to reduce state property rental expenses by 50%. To do this, it is necessary to employ at least five unemployed women from the "Women's Notebook" and organize home-based work for them.

The area covered by the discount depends on the location of the property. In Tashkent, the limit is 60 sq. m. In Nukus and regional centers — 80 sq. m. In district centers — 100 sq. m. In other territories — 120 sq. m.

If an entrepreneur hires more women, the area limit will be increased.

For example, when renting premises for 4 million soums per month, the discount will allow saving 2 million soums. Over a year, the savings will amount to 24 million soums.

The benefit is provided for by Presidential Decree No. PQ-376 of September 21, 2022. It is not granted automatically: entrepreneurs must meet the established requirements.
