In Uzbekistan, nine caves and one salt mine will be prepared for tourism

The government has approved a list of nine caves and one salt mine located in four regions of Uzbekistan. These sites are intended to be surveyed and prepared for tourist visits.

The list includes the Peshagor, Yakhdon, Omonkuton, Kiev, Hazrati Dovud, Korongi Yulduz, Boybuloq, Teshik-Tash, and Amir Temur caves. In addition, the Khodjaikon salt mine was included in the list.

A digital passport with photos, videos, and a 3D model will be created for each site. All data will be entered into a unified electronic registry. QR codes with additional information will also be installed for tourists.

In addition, there are plans to develop tourist routes and install signposts. Safety requirements will be established for the caves, and coordination with rescue services will be organized.
