In Uzbekistan, a unified electronic registry of speleotourism sites is planned to be created by March 2027. This is stipulated by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 30, which entered into force on October 2.

The registry will include data on the geographical location of the sites, their tourism potential, technical condition, and legal status.

Tourism passports will be prepared for the sites, navigation signs will be installed, and electronic maps and recommendations for their use will be developed. To promote the sites, photo and video materials, as well as 3D models and QR codes with information about the attractions, will also be created.

The list of sites with high potential for the development of speleotourism includes:

Unified safety requirements will be developed for speleotourism sites, providing for evacuation schemes and coordination with rescue services.

Training and qualification certification, as well as regular advanced training courses, will be organized for guides and instructors.

Cooperation with international speleological organizations and joint expeditions are also planned. The obtained data is scheduled to be included in a unified electronic database.

In parallel, ecological monitoring of the sites will be conducted. It is planned to regularly assess the ecological state of the caves, monitor the anthropogenic load, and develop measures to prevent the negative impact of tourism on the environment.
