In Uzbekistan, buses and electric buses may be exempted from the recycling fee, while train stations and airports could be exempted from taxes. The draft presidential decree also envisages allocating a "green corridor" for refueling public transport with gas and permitting the construction of commercial facilities at bus stations.

Uzbekistan plans to exempt railway stations and airports from taxes, and new buses from the recycling levy
In Uzbekistan, a number of tax, customs, and credit incentives are expected to be provided to entrepreneurs and carriers in order to develop transport infrastructure and involve the private sector more broadly in the field. This measure is envisaged in a published draft presidential decree.
According to the draft document, a zero recycling levy rate will be applied until December 31, 2027, to new buses and electric buses that meet "Euro-5" and higher environmental category requirements.
Also, from January 1, 2027, to January 1, 2030, passenger transport infrastructure facilities — bus stations, bus terminals, railway stations, and local airports — will be exempt from paying corporate property tax and land tax.
In order to ensure an uninterrupted supply of gas fuel for public transport rolling stock during the autumn-winter season, a priority service procedure will be established at compressed natural gas stations for them based on a dedicated lane — a "green corridor".
It will be permitted to build complexes that include charging stations, catering facilities, hotels, technical service points, car washes, and shops on up to 20 percent of the territory of bus stations.
In addition, a mechanism will be introduced through commercial banks to allocate long-term loans on preferential terms to entrepreneurs for the construction and reconstruction of bus stations and terminals, as well as for the purchase of new minibuses.
Earlier, it was reported that under the document, a 20 percent discount and free ride privileges are planned for those who purchase electronic tickets for suburban routes.
The document also provides for connecting New Tashkent Airport with the Northern Railway Station via a railway line.
