In Uzbekistan, a group of education sector workers has been honored with state awards
The President of Uzbekistan has signed a decree awarding particularly distinguished workers in the field of education and upbringing on the occasion of Teachers and Mentors Day.
State awards were presented to school teachers, university lecturers and professors, educators, coaches, researchers, heads of educational institutions, and representatives of other fields who have contributed to the development of the education system.
Some of the workers were honored with honorary titles, including "People's Teacher of the Republic of Uzbekistan," "Honored Worker of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan," "Honored Mentor of Youth of the Republic of Uzbekistan," as well as titles of honored inventors and innovators, sports mentors, and cultural workers.
In addition, particularly distinguished specialists were awarded the orders of "Fidokorona khizmatlari uchun," "Mehnat shuhrati," "Sog'lom avlod uchun," "Do'stlik," "Salomatlik," "Mardlik," as well as the medals "Sog'lom turmush," "Jasorat," "Sodiq khizmatlari uchun," "Kelajak bunyodkori," and "Shuhrat."
The document emphasizes the recipients' contribution to improving the quality of education, implementing modern pedagogical and digital technologies, training qualified personnel, educating youth, and developing science and vocational education.
Among those awarded are representatives from all regions of the country, as well as foreign specialists and experts involved in the development of Uzbekistan's educational system.
