President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented state awards to outstanding figures in various fields in honor of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, recognizing their significant contribution to the country's progress.
Among those awarded was Abdusattor Kurbonov, a veteran from Surkhandarya, whose work in reclaiming desert lands and developing agriculture the head of state called true heroism.
The honorary title of "Honored Worker of Industry" was awarded to Gulomjon Turonov, a steelmaker with many years of experience at the Bekabad Metallurgical Plant. The President emphasized that this award symbolizes recognition of the achievements of the entire metallurgical team.
Ilkhom Ziyovuddinov from Namangan, who created his own school in cotton and grain growing; Jamilya Khudoyberdieva from Bukhara, who has achieved outstanding results in sericulture; and Esenbay Aitmuratov from Karakalpakstan, who is actively implementing modern technologies in animal husbandry, also received high praise.
The work of Samarkand irrigator Aslankul Karimkulov, who helps reduce water loss, was particularly noted.
The honorary title of "Honored Builder" was awarded to master artisan Sattorkhozha Tukhtakhozhaev, who participated in the artistic design of the Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan and the Imam Bukhari Complex in Samarkand.
The President emphasized that the dedicated work and creative achievements of these individuals serve as an example and are an integral part of the success of the New Uzbekistan.
