President awards a group of citizens on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded a group of citizens on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence. Among the awardees are workers in the fields of science, education, healthcare, sports, culture, art and the media. The presidential press service reported this.

The decree states that the awards were given "for their worthy contribution to strengthening the independence of Uzbekistan, increasing the effectiveness of reforms aimed at building a new Uzbekistan, raising the intellectual potential and spirituality of the people with their multifaceted creative and scientific and practical activities, developing the fields of science, education, healthcare, sports, culture and art, and the media in the country, maintaining an atmosphere of peace and harmony, mutual respect and solidarity in society, educating young people in the spirit of love and loyalty to the Motherland, respect for universal human values, and active participation in social life."
