In Uzbekistan, 45 management companies were excluded from the electronic register
Since the beginning of the year, 45 management companies servicing apartment buildings have been excluded from the electronic register in Uzbekistan. One of the grounds for such a decision can be a three-time violation of management rules within one calendar year.
This was announced at a meeting dedicated to the management of apartment buildings. However, the specific reasons for the exclusion of the 45 companies from the register were not named at the meeting.
The procedure for forming and maintaining the electronic register is established by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 47 dated February 1, 2022. The document provides for several grounds for excluding management companies from the register.
In particular, this is possible if state bodies confirm that the documents submitted for registration contain unreliable or distorted information, or if the company is liquidated. Another ground is the absence of apartment buildings under management for three months after the owners have refused its services.
In addition, a company may be excluded from the register if it violates the rules for managing apartment buildings three times within a calendar year, and the authorized bodies take measures provided for by law for each case. The same consequence is provided for companies included in the list of unscrupulous management organizations.
The meeting also discussed additional mechanisms for monitoring the activities of management companies. In particular, they are required to report quarterly on revenues for each building serviced. If a report is not submitted, the accrual of mandatory contributions is suspended until it is submitted.
Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan has tightened liability for the illegal construction of apartment buildings.
