Special requirements also apply to elevators. Elevator cabins must display information about the load capacity and maximum permissible number of passengers, the registration number in the "Safe Elevator" electronic system, information about the completion of regular technical inspections, and the contact number of the service organization or emergency service. Elevator shafts, machine rooms, and approaches to them must be clear of foreign objects and well-lit.

These changes will come into effect on November 16, 2026.
